How It Holds Up

Software can hold a record. Discipline keeps one.

Three principles run through everything CAMIWORKS does. They are not features; they are the character of the system.

Everything attributable

Every change in the system carries who made it, when they made it, and why. There are no anonymous edits: when a date moves, a payment posts, or a determination is signed, the record shows the person behind it. Months later, the question “who decided this, and on what basis?” has an answer.

Archive, never delete

Records in CAMIWORKS are archived, never deleted. Superseded versions and closed actions move out of the working view, but they do not disappear. The history of a contract stays whole. What happened stays part of the record.

Judgment stays human

CAMIWORKS enforces that determinations, justifications, and sign-offs are made by people, on the record. The system assembles the file and will not let a required judgment be skipped, but it never makes the judgment itself. People make the calls; CAMIWORKS makes sure the calls are documented.
